Railway’s 150th Anniversary
Thousands of people have took advantage of the Bank Holiday sunshine to enjoy the Railway’s 150th Anniversary event in Petersfield.
Vantage points along the railway line between Liphook and Petersfield were packed by people hoping to catch a glimpse of the steam engine Oliver Cromwell.
The event was being held to mark the 150th anniversary of the railway first coming to Petersfield.
